About Us

K'wanzi Accents is a specialist design studio with offices in both Rwanda and Uganda, providing a wide range of Interior Design solutions to residential & commercial projects from fittings to fixtures and furnishing for existing and new construction. We often see our projects through from start to finish- including working alongside architects and contractors, creating adhesive plans for all interior elements and the end result is well thought out spaces all suited to the needs of our clients.

We work with an incredible network of suppliers both local, regional and international, leveraging on our connections to satisfy a diverse range of customer tastes.

  • Camilla Kabagyema

    CO-FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR OF KWANZI ACCENTS RWANDA

    Camilla is one of the co-founding partners of K'wanzi Accents alongside business partner and cousin Brenda Mpiirwa Ssali which they started together in 2018. Camilla has always been driven by creativity, she enjoys integrating bold colours into spaces so as to encourage people to deeply connect with their spaces as well as make the impossible possible.

    Camilla joined K'wanzi Accents with prior experience in Human Resources which she acquired in the banking and audit sectors. With her past experience she's learnt to work and manage people from different walks of life, become a quick problem solver and build relationships.

    Together she and Brenda decided to pursue the brand K’wanzi Accents and do whatever it takes to build it. It is with this great passion that Camilla always expends herself whole heartedly so as to bring together the personal styles and preferences of her clients with a clear creative vision.

    Camilla aspires to be part of the new frontier in interior design.

  • Brenda Mpiirwa Ssali

    CO-FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR OF KWANZI ACCENTS UGANDA

    Brenda is one of the co-founding partners of K’wanzi Accents which she started with her cousin and business partner Camilla Kabagyema in 2018, with a vision of creating, building & transforming spaces that enable people live through their own passions.

    Prior to establishing K’wanzi Accents, Brenda was a full time banker where she developed a muscle to build client relationships.

    Brenda is a lover of art and a creative at heart and brings this steady entrepreneurial spirit to K'wanzi Accents, enabling the business grow through various aspects like problem solving, attention to detail, strategic thinking, innovation and hard work.

    In her free time, Brenda completes jigsaw puzzles for fun, watches T.V and loves to dance at every opportunity. A lover of travel, her creativity is inspired by the places She has visited.
